Adding Items to Pay-Per-View

| Wed, 16 May 2012

The PornCMS Pay-Per-View System allows you to assign a token-based value to any Item on your website. Before a page can billed as Pay-Per-View, the page needs to be added to the PPV Items database (Setup>Pay-Per-View>Items). Here are the steps to add a Pay-Per-View Item.

Add Pay-Per-View Item

At the top of the page is a form for adding new Items (pages) to your Pay-Per-View system. Choose the Item from the drop-down list of pages on your website and click "Next Step". The Item will then be added to the list shown below the "add" form box.

Edit Pay-Per-View Item

Below the "add" form box is a list of the Items you've added to your Pay-Per-View system. These Items are sorted by the "latest sale", meaning the Item with the most recent sale is #1, next recent is #2, and so on. Here are details of the editable fields for each Item.

      TOKENS

This option sets the number of tokens required to access this PPV page. Maximum allowed is 1000.

      LENGTH OF VIEW

This option sets the duration of allowed access by the member who purchases this item. Set the length in Hours and/or Days. To allow non-expiring access, set the Minutes, Hours and Days to ZERO (0). If your access duration is under 24 hours, set the Days to ZERO. If your access duration is under 1 hour, set the Days and Hours to ZERO.

      STATUS

Pay-Per-View Items cannot be deleted but you can disable the Pay-Per-View requirement by setting the status to 'OFF'

NOTICE: YOU CAN NOW SET A VIDEO AS PAY-PER-VIEW DIRECTLY IN THE VIDEOS ADMIN MODULE. CLICK 'EDIT' ON ANY VIDEO, CHOOSE THE PERMISSIONS TAB AND SET THE PAY-PER-VIEW OPTIONS.
